About

Software built from the job site up.

FieldFrame wasn't designed in a conference room. It was built out of frustration, by someone who runs field service crews for a living.

Built because I needed it and couldn't find it.

I own The Patch Boys of Greater Tucson — a drywall repair franchise with three crews running jobs across the metro area. We do dozens of jobs a week. Before and after photos are part of every single one: warranty documentation, texture matching records, damage evidence, sales material.

For the first two years, those photos were a mess. Scattered across three phones, floating in text threads, dumped into an unnamed Google Drive folder that nobody could navigate. Every time a customer called with a question about a past repair, someone on my team spent 20 minutes searching for a photo that should have taken 20 seconds to find.

I wasn't looking to build a software company. I was looking to stop losing job photos. FieldFrame is what I built when I couldn't find anything that solved the problem the right way.

I tried the obvious solutions. CompanyCam is a solid tool — built for contractors who want project timelines, client-facing galleries, and annotation features. But it wasn't what I needed. I needed something that connected directly to Jobber, where all my job data already lived, and organized photos automatically into Google Drive, where my whole team could access them without installing another app or learning another system.

That connection didn't exist. So I built it.

Why this matters beyond my business

After running it internally for several months, I started talking to other field service operators. Roofing companies. HVAC contractors. Landscapers. Plumbers. Every single one had the same photo problem I had. Same symptoms: photos on phones, nothing organized, impossible to find anything after a job closes.

The field service industry runs on Jobber. Tens of thousands of companies use it to schedule, quote, and invoice. Most of them also use Google Drive for file storage. The gap between those two tools — the gap where job photos fall into and disappear — is the problem FieldFrame solves.

We built it as a mobile-first app because that's where field service operators actually work. Not at a desk. On a job site, between stops, in a truck. The app needed to be simple enough that a tech who doesn't want to think about software can use it without training, and powerful enough that the owner gets a complete, organized photo archive without ever touching it themselves.

What we're building toward

FieldFrame is live on iOS and Android. We're actively developing integrations and improving background sync reliability. If you already use Jobber, you can connect your account directly from inside the app — no marketplace listing required, just secure login and you're synced in minutes.

The long-term vision is simple: every field service company should have a complete, organized, searchable visual record of every job they've ever done — without anyone on the team having to think about it. That record protects them legally, helps them win disputes, and builds the kind of documentation that serious companies have.

Most field service companies don't have that today. FieldFrame is how they get it.

Our mission

Every job, documented. Every photo, findable.

Field service operators work too hard to lose the evidence of that work. FieldFrame exists to make sure they never have to search for a job photo again.
